North Georgia starting pitcher Blake Hobby was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings Preseason Division-II All-American team on Tuesday.

Last season, Hobby tallied a 7-3 record with an earned run average of 1.76.

In his 14 starts, Hobby pitched into the seventh inning in 11 of those games, and went the distance three different times.

Hobby has 19 career wins including 187 strikeouts and has earned First-Team Peach Belt All-Conference honors, Peach Belt Conference All-Tournament honors, ABCA First-Team All-Region honors and First-Team Daktronics All-Region honors.
