Lady Saints dominated by Lander

Gainesville graduate Jaymee Carnes, hampered by an ankle injury, scored a season-low five points as North Georgia College and State University (9-6, 3-3 Peach Belt Conference) fell to Lander University (12-3, 7-0 PBC) 84-60 Wednesday evening.

Stephanie Huffman led the Lady Saints with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Huffman was the consistent player in all 40 minutes for North Georgia, while she also added five assists and three steals. Junior Jasmine Manning came off the bench and scored 18 points for the Lady Saints.

Another tough road game is on tap for the Lady Saints, as they travel to USC-Aiken to battle the 11th-ranked Pacers at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
