Gainesville High graduate Jaymee Carnes scored 25 points with five rebounds and three blocked shots for the North Georgia College & State University women in a 66-61 loss to Armstrong Atlantic University on Wednesday night in Dahlonega.

It marks the third consecutive loss for the Lady Saints (9-8, 3-5 Peach Belt Conference).

Stephanie Huffman played all 40 minutes of the game and recorded a double-double along for North Georgia and finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

After once being in second place in the conference at 3-2, North Georgia has dropped three in a row to find themselves right in the middle of the league's West Division.

The Lady Saints trail Clayton State (8-1) and Columbus State (5-3), along with Georgia Southwestern (3-4).
