The Brenau University tennis program, ranked No. 6 in the NAIA, lost to the University of Alabama-Montgomery on Friday in Gainesville. Golden Tigers (9-6, 3-1 SSAC) No. 3 doubles pair Hannah Thompson and Eline Nagels earned an 8-5 victory in their match.

At No. 1 singles, Brenau’s Lyn See Choo forced a tie-breaker in a 7-6, (7-4), 6-4 loss. Nagels also forced a tie-breaker before losing at No. 6 singles for the Golden Tigers.

Brenau plays host to Columbia College at 10 a.m. today in Gainesville.
