The Atlanta Falcons’ 2012 regular season schedule will include four nationally televised games, the National Football League announced Tuesday. Appearances will include Monday Night Football against the Denver Broncos at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 17 in Atlanta for the home opener, and at the Detroit Lions on Dec. 22, with both games televised on ESPN. Atlanta’s schedule will also include a Sunday Night Football matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Nov. 4 on NBC, and a home game against division rival New Orleans Saints on Nov. 18 on the NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football. The 2012 season marks the second consecutive year that the Falcons will be featured in four primetime games.
