ATLANTA — Eury Perez doubled his RBI total and snapped the Braves’ losing streak. Perez drove in two runs with a bases-loaded, tiebreaking single in the eighth inning and Atlanta overcame Kyle Schwarber’s three hits to beat the Chicago Cubs 4-2 on Friday night. Perez had driven in only one run since being recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett on June 18, but he had at least one hit in 11 of his first 14 starts.
