FORT MYERS, Fla. — David Ortiz ended an 0-for-8 spring training start with a double in the fourth inning as the Boston Red Sox beat the Atlanta Braves 4-1 Friday. Ortiz had struck out four times and walked once before his first hit of the exhibition season. Left-hander Felix Doubront, making his second start, allowed two hits in four scoreless innings with three strikeouts.
