White County scored 26 unanswered points to overcome a first-quarter deficit and defeat Madison County 26-11 on Friday night in Danielsville.
White County junior Nasser Clarke broke off a 72-yard run on a third-and-18 to get the scoring started for the Warriors. Clarke finished with five carries for 92 yards and two touchdowns.
Warriors’ sophomore Kaleb Crane had 28 carries for 147 yards, senior Adam Johnson had seven carries for 45 yards and a touchdown and senior quarterback Dane Quinn had a rushing touchdown on a quarterback sneak.
The Warriors' offensive line played well, helping rack up over 300 yards on the ground.
White County junior defensive lineman Will Havelin had an interception on defense.
White County (1-4, 1-1 Region 8-AAAA) hosts Stephens County 7:30 p.m. next Friday.
