Outlook: After a tough loss against Buford, Gainesville looks like it’s starting to click on all cylinders with its 68-0 win against Winder-Barrow last Friday to open Region 8-AAAAA play at City Park Stadium. For Apalachee, a loser by lopsided scores to Lanier and Greater Atlanta Christian, this is its first region game of the season. Last week for the Red Elephants, Watson became the first 10,000-yard passer in state history.
