Chestatee quarterback Storm Yarbrough threw for 298 yards and scored two touchdowns in Friday night’s 38-33 victory over Lumpkin County in Dahlonega.

War Eagle Nick Lyles rushed for 69 yards and scored one touchdown. Chestatee (3-2) wide receivers totaled 137 yards, as Jacob Goodall had 98 yards in receiving and scored one touchdown.

Lumpkin County running back Zach Matthews had 17 carries for 146 yards and ran for a 94-yard touchdown. Lumpkin’s  Cole White had 13 carries for 127 yards and scored two touchdowns. He scored on 26- and 27-yard touchdown runs.

Indians quarterback Chandler Woodham finished with 24 carries for 128 yards in rushing, and was 4 for 9 passing for 16 yards.

Chestatee plays Habersham Central on Friday in Mount Airy.
