Banks County rides Lackey past Athens Christian 28-20

Dylan Lackey ran for 123 yards and three touchdowns to lead Banks County to a 28-20 win Friday over Athens Christian.

Brenton Ruark rushed for 19 yards and touchdown while catching three passes for 22 yards. Ruark also added an interception on defense for Banks County (3-1, 0-0 Region 8A-AA).

Harrison Dale went 9-for-13 passing with 152 yards and Dean Ewing had 69 yards receiving for Banks County who plays host to Union County at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1.
