Top-ranked Buford continued its run of one-side victories, shutting out Madison County 44-0 on Friday at Tom Riden Stadium.

The Wolves wasted no time taking control of Friday night’s game as Xavier Gantt returned the opening kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown.

Jordan Perlotte added a pair of rushing touchdowns for Buford (9-0, 6-0 Region 8-AAAA). Quay Picou, Elijah Bryant and Joshua Blackwell also scored for the Wolves.

Matt Bonadies hit a 31-yard field goal in the second quarter.

Buford visits Stephens County on Friday in Toccoa.
