I am a 72-year-old man born near the end of the Great Depression. During my lifetime, I have seen this great country grow from a struggling nation to the greatest in the world. During my lifetime, I know of seven wars our men and women have fought in on foreign soil to protect the freedom that we enjoy here in America.
In these 72 years, we have had 12 different presidents. Some have been great, some have been good, but all with the exception of one have tried to insure that we as a nation have kept all the freedoms that our forefathers had in mind when they wrote the constitution of this great country.
About two years ago, I was watching television and saw Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and two other candidates running for president standing when the national anthem was playing. All were saluting the flag except Obama. He was standing with his arms by his side refusing to salute the flag of the great county that he was running for president. I knew then that he was bad news for this country.
Since his election as president, I have seen my prediction come true. In my 72 years, I have never seen the country in as bad a shape as we are in now. We are slowly but surely losing the freedoms that we have. We are so far in debt that not only us but our children, grandchildren and great-great children will never get out of and we are getting deeper everyday.
I woke up this morning with this thought: Barack Obama is just one man trying to destroy this great country.
