I would like to respond to Barbara Butler’s letter on Monday regarding the cutting of food stamps. It is a shame that a veteran that has served this once (and hopefully can be again) great nation such as yourself can only receive $16 per month. I know healthy, young, perfectly capable individuals that get hundreds of dollars in food stamps and even more in other government welfare dollars.
