This is for the families of fallen heros of the Korean War and from Hall County: The Korean Vets Memorial that was unveiled Saturday at Rock Creek Veterans Park was a very touching program. The Korean Veterans of Georgia are to be commended for their dedicated and hard work and for their vision in remembrance.

I thank them for allowing me to meet and greet all family members of these fallen heros. There were 76 family members in attendance. There was a wife, a son, many sisters and brothers, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of them. This program, I was told by many, has helped bring closure after 62 years of loss.

Family members have asked me to thank Mr. Sunny K. Park, the Korean spokesperson, for explaining what it meant to have the Americans as a friend and how they would never forget them.

With thanks and honor to all military and military families, thank you.
