On behalf of the Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County, I would like to thank our 2013 Charity Ball Belles, the sponsoring clubs and all who donated and made this year so successful.

Our belles were: Kelly Holt Harrison, representing the Gainesville Jaycees; Sara Hayes representing the Pilot Club of Gainesville-Hall County; Rebecca Pannek, representing the Gainesville Elks Lodge; Caroline Perrott, representing the Lanierland Civitan Club; Sydney Phillips representing the South Hall Rotary Club; Morgan Reece representing the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville; and Carey Sartain representing the Rotary Club of Gainesville.

These young women did an extraordinary job representing these organizations and raising funds on behalf of the Junior League. The money they raised will be used to provide a signature grant to a local non-profit in 2015-2016.

The funds will also support Junior League initiatives such as Feeding Our Future, a monthly food distribution for chronically hungry families in our community.

Thank you again to our Belles, sponsoring clubs and all those who supported the Belles.

Julia K. Greene
president, Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County, Gainesville
