I’ve enjoyed seeing the deer for nine years in the Riverside Drive area after moving there in 2002. Even this morning, the first thing I saw looking out into my front yard was a mother and her baby deer. So enjoyable to see!

I’ve witnessed many deer throughout the area during long peaceful walks. If people would slow down and actually do the posted speed limit in that area, the risk of hitting deer would greatly decrease. In my opinion, this is the bigger problem. People are driving way too fast as there are many walkers, joggers, children playing and deer sharing the neighborhood.

I choose life and I say let the deer live!
