When people with strong opinions confront each other, the threat of violence is always present. It is my hope that law enforcement personnel will commit to arrest and to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law the person(s) who throw the first rock, the first water bottle or the first fist. They will not be able to arrest all of the violators, but their latching onto the first offenders will send a clear message to others who are prone to violence.
