Letter: Too many are getting away with dumping trash by Hall roadsides

The litter problems we have been seeing for several years now have escalated to “just drop your garbage as you go.” Every highway and road I travel in Hall and surrounding counties are trashed.

America is looking (and acting) more and more like a third-world country and it seems nothing is being done about it. Obviously, most of this is done at night. Do the roads ever get monitored to catch some of these slobs and fine them?

If so, they should be made to do community service by cleaning the road sides for at least six months. This lack of respect and just plain sorryness needs to be stopped.
