Letter: Senators made right choice by rejecting latest GOP health plan

Let all of us poor folks, the ones that are not in the top 1 percent of earnings, send a big “thank you” to U.S. Sens. John McCain, R-Arizona, Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, for saying that they will not vote for the latest “Kill Obamacare” bill.

It is good to know there are a few Republican senators who recognize the importance of serving the vast majority of Americans, who support or depend on “Obamacare,” instead of the big money donors to the Republican Party.

It is unfortunate that Georgia Sens. David Perdue and Johnny Isakson do not have such courage. Shame on them.
