Letter: Doug Collins should have reduced taxpayer funding of NPR, PBS

Congressman Doug Collins's attempts to correct Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler are noteworthy, but, ultimately ineffective, given the present control of the House of Representatives by Democrats. Had Collins taken advantage of the two years during which Republicans held sway over all three branches of government, he might have been willing and able to eliminate, or, at the very least, significantly reduce, federal (taxpayer) funding to NPR and PBS.
