Letter: Browns Bridge continues to deteriorate, remains dangerous
Placeholder Image

Browns Bridge across the Chattahoochee River between Hall and Forsyth counties is unsafe due to its very rough and rapidly deteriorating surface.

Empty semi trailers bounce violently and create disturbingly loud bangs on landing. This extremely loud noise pollution is heard for miles.

Browns Bridge is structurally deficient and desperately needs to be replaced.

The noise problems could be greatly reduced by resurfacing the bridge until it can be replaced.
