A two-vehicle wreck Friday afternoon west of Dahlonega killed a 76-year-old resident of Ben West Road.

Ray Paul Koehn Sr. was heading home on Mill Creek Road with his wife Dorothy Koehn, 75, when an eastbound 1993 Isuzu Trooper crossed the center line and struck his westbound 1999 Pontiac Montana van, said Sgt. G.R. Harper with the Georgia State Patrol.

The accident happened near the intersection of Mill Creek and Ben West roads at about 12:35 p.m.

Ray Paul Koehn died at the scene and Dorothy Koehn was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Harper said.

He did not know her condition.

Jeremy Todd Adams, 30, was driving the Isuzu, and Gabrielle Jones, 20, was a passenger, Harper said.

Both were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries, Harper said.

Multiple charges have been filed against Adams, he added.
