A Gainesville woman received non life-threatening injuries Tuesday night when she was run over by her own car after forgetting to put it in park.

The unidentified woman got out of her car at her home on Lee Road near Thompson Bridge Road, but as she was walking to her house the car hit her, rolling over her leg, and then proceeded to hit the porch, said Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell.

The woman was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with a possible broken leg, but no other serious injuries, Kimbrell said.
