A Rabun County woman was killed Tuesday in a two-car wreck in Lula, according to the Georgia State Patrol. MaryEllen Maznicki, 64, of Lakemont, was thrown from her Jeep Grand Cherokee in the wreck at Ga. 365 northbound and Athens Street. GSP said a Buick Park Avenue driven by Jerry McKee, 17, of Gainesville, was trying to pull onto Ga. 365 from Athens Street when he failed to yield the right of way and struck Maznicki’s vehicle, which overturned.
