An Oakwood woman was killed Wednesday in a one-car accident south of Gainesville.

Victoria Lynn Thompson, 30, died after the car she was in ran off Calvary Church Road and crashed. Thompson was ejected from the car during the crash, Hall County Deputy Coroner John Abernathy said.

The accident happened at about 3 p.m. on Calvary Church Road near Barber Road, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

The state patrol continues to investigate the crash. No other information was available Wednesday night.
