Paving begins today to tie in newly built lanes on Ga. 347/Lanier Islands Parkway, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced Thursday. The work will be done 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and dawn to dusk on the weekends and will continue into next week. Drivers should expect minor delays at commercial driveways and intersections.
