Wednesday is the last day to buy a brick for a public safety monument being built on Roosevelt Square in downtown Gainesville.

Residents and family members hoping to honor their loved one in public safety or support an entire agency can purchase a $50 brick for the project through the Rotary clubs of Gainesville, Hall County and South Hall.

The monument will honor first responders and local authorities.
