Valentine cards, candy recalled

Several thousand Pokémon Valentine’s Day cards with lollipops are being recalled because the candy may contain metal fragments.

Sherwood Brands LLC is voluntarily recalling approximately 400,000 packages of Pokémon branded “Valentine Cards and Pops” because of reports that metal fragments were found in two lollipops purchased in Florida. There are no reports of injury.

The products being recalled are packages of 10 and 30 Pokémon branded Valentine cards and lollipops featuring a variety of characters, with item number 073964209109 and item number 073964289804.

The Pokémon branded Valentine cards and lollipops should be removed from the shelves immediately. The product was sold at retailers nationwide.

Anyone who has purchased the Valentine cards is advised not to eat them and to return them to Sherwood Brands for a full refund. Send affected products to: Sherwood Brands LLC; Attn: Product Recall; 350 Shaw Drive; Keysville, VA 23947.
