One masked man “accidentally discharged” his firearm during an armed robbery Wednesday, Feb. 27 at the Atlanta Highway Chevron in Gainesville, according to authorities.
Hall County Sheriff’s Office investigators are looking for two suspects who entered the 1724 Atlanta Highway convenience store before 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Both men were armed, masked and wearing hoods.
“The clerk was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash. While in the store, one of the suspects accidentally discharged his firearm,” Lt. Scott Ware wrote in a news release.
No one was hurt, and both men ran from the store.
