Hall County government is poised to hire not one but two contractors to share engineering services for permitting the Glades Reservoir. Under the proposed arrangement, pending approval from the Hall County Board of Commissioners on Thursday, engineering firms CDM Smith and AECOM would each be able to bid on projects regarding engineering aspects of gaining the permits necessary for approval of the Glades Reservoir. Currently, Hall County is preparing an environmental impact statement for the Army Corps of Engineers in order to get the permits to build.
