A truck submerged in Lake Lanier at Little River Park on Wednesday was reported missing on Sept. 11 from Loganville, according to a Gwinnett County police report.

Two brothers in Loganville called police on Sept. 11 reporting their black 2006 Ford F150 pickup was missing. The owners told police no one else had a key to the vehicle, and no one else had permission to use the vehicle, according to the report.

“According to them there were no signs of forced entry such as broken glass,” the report reads.

On Wednesday around 3 p.m., divers with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office’s underwater search and rescue unit inspected the vehicle for any potential victims inside.

The Army Corps of Engineers assisted the sheriff’s office in locating the vehicle.

The Gwinnett County Police Department could not give any further details on the investigation.
