Gainesville, Hall County and a developer have OK’d funding for a study to determine if a traffic light is needed at the intersection of Browns Bridge Road and Cresswind Parkway and will split the $4,000 cost.

Residents have complained about the difficulty of entering and exiting the large subdivision during school and rush-hour traffic.

The DOT must sign off on the need for a light because the road is a state route.
