A Toccoa man was ejected from his car Monday morning and killed after his car overturned on Ga. 365 in Alto.

Paul Jonathan Tubbs, 64, was fatally injured in the wreck.

Georgia State Patrol said the incident occurred around 6:05 a.m. Monday, when Tubbs’ Ford Ranger was traveling southbound on Ga. 365 near Crane Mill Road. Tubbs was negotiating a curve in the left lane when his car crossed the fog line on the left shoulder, state patrol said.

“The driver overcorrected, and the vehicle traveled into the right lane,” state patrol wrote in an email. “The driver overcorrected again and the vehicle rotated counterclockwise before overturning.”

The GSP wreck report was not complete Monday afternoon.
