Supreme Court rules Georgia may need to cap water use

Florida has suffered enough harm from Georgia’s water consumption that a cap on water use in the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin might be warranted, the Supreme Court decided Wednesday, June 27. Dealing a blow to Georgia, the U.S. Supreme Court has sent the case back to its special master, Maine lawyer Ralph Lancaster, for further review.
