Solicitor General Stephanie Woodard formally charged comedian Katt Williams last month for alleged incidents earlier this year in Gainesville.

Williams faces three counts for an alleged Feb. 29 incident at Leslie’s Pool Supplies and one charge for allegations at a March 26 soccer game at Melrose Apartments.

The State Court accusations were filed on May 18.

Williams’ attorney Drew Findling did not return multiple requests for comment.

Williams was charged with battery, simple battery and hindering an emergency telephone call related to the Leslie’s Pool Supplies incident on Dawsonville Highway. According to the State Court accusation, Williams allegedly struck Paul Love and prevented the man “from completing a 911 telephone call with the intent to cause physical harm to Paul Love.”

In the Melrose Apartments incident, Williams is accused of disorderly conduct by using “abusive language” that “tend(s) to incite an immediate breach of the peace,” according to court documents.

Gainesville Police initially charged Williams after a viral video surfaced of a fight allegedly involving Williams and a teenager at the Gainesville apartments.
