No one was injured this afternoon when a Hall County school bus was clipped by a van as the bus tried to exit Interstate 985.

The accident happened about 4:25 p.m., according to school spokesman Gordon Higgins. Bus 2411, driven by Randall Baird, was heading north near Exit 20 when the van crossed in front of the bus, according to David Childress, system transportation coordinator and safety director who was at the scene. The van clipped the front end of the bus and spun out, he said.

Students from South Hall Middle and Johnson High schools were put on another bus at about 5 p.m.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident.
