Coming Tuesday

Times staff members Savannah King and J.K. Devine participated in the run as part of the Life department’s monthly exercise series. Read their story in Tuesday’s edition.

Runners and walkers gathered Thursday evening at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville for the annual Chamber Chase 5-kilometer run and 2-mile Wellness Walk put on by the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce.

The event is part of the chamber’s Vision 2030 program and seeks to promote wellness for individuals and corporations. It benefits children’s fitness programs in Hall County.

Chamber marketer Kemie West said some 2,000 runners, walkers, spectators and vendors attended this year’s event.
