Groundbreaking for the Dawson County Government Center, originally set for Thursday, has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. Jan. 28 due to the threat of bad weather.

The new facility is to be built at 25 Justice Way in Dawsonville.

Heavy rain is forecast for Thursday, with a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.
