Power was restored to thousands of customers who were left without electricity when a car hit a power pole just before 3 p.m. according to Jackson EMC. “We have a serious outage going on in the Flowery Branch area at Spout Springs Road and Dove Point Lane,” spokeswoman Bonnie Jones had said Tuesday. “There’s been an automobile accident that has broken at least two poles and has disrupted service for about half of our Spout Springs substation. That involves a little over 4,300 customers.”
