A Flowery Branch man is accused of choking two children on Thanksgiving, according to police.
Jonathan Everette Hardin, 30, was arrested and charged Saturday with two counts of aggravated assault by Flowery Branch Police.
Police responded to a Mitchell Street home Friday in response to a report of juveniles being choked by Hardin.
“During the course of the investigation, it was determined two children had been choked (by) Mr. Hardin during this period of time while Mr. Hardin was intoxicated,” Flowery Branch Police Lt. Christopher Hulsey wrote in an email. “Mr. Hardin apparently choked the two children until they begged him to stop.”
Hulsey said neither child was transported to the hospital and both are OK.
According to the warrants, Hardin is accused of “placing the (victims) in a headlock and choking.”
Hardin was additionally charged with two counts of false imprisonment and one count of disorderly conduct. He was booked in to the Hall County Jail and remained there Tuesday.
