A Gainesville man is accused of stealing clothes and a child Monday to “avoid police capture” after a traffic stop, according to authorities. Luis Angel Contreras, 26, is charged with first-degree burglary and kidnapping. He was booked Tuesday in to the Hall County Jail, where he remains.
