Gainesville’s annual Memorial Day parade boasted a terrific crowd, and the “best weather we’ve had,” according to David Dellinger, American Legion Paul E. Bolding Post 7 commander. “That’s what you call parade weather,” he said. Under balmy skies with temperatures in the mid- to high-70s, spectators sat and stood along the parade route decked out in their patriotic hues and adorned in American flag pins and military decals.
