Oakwood City Council changed its tow trucks law Monday night to set criteria for wrecker businesses interested in providing service at accident scenes. Companies “would have to have an impoundment lot in Oakwood, a business license in Oakwood — basically they’d have (to have) some connection with the city to be eligible to be on the list,” City Manager Stan Brown said. “And they’d have to be able to respond within a certain amount of time, and vehicles would have to meet certain inspection criteria.”
