Northeast Georgia Medical Center is one of the nation’s 100 top hospitals in a new study released by Truven Health Analytics. Truven compiled its list by using public information from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, evaluating performance in 10 areas including patient safety, average patient stay, patient satisfaction and adherence to clinical standards of care.
Northeast Georgia Medical Center is tops — again. “Our top three categories that we focus on are patient safety, the patient experience and satisfaction,” said Carol Burrell, president and CEO of the Northeast Georgia Health System. Those three priorities are reflected in the recent naming of the hospital as one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals in a study released by Truven Health Analytics in March.
