An open house for the new North Hall High School Performing Arts Center will be held from 5-7 p.m. April 28.
Band, choral and theater students from all of the feeder and high school programs will perform in the new center.
The schedule will be:
• 5-5:20 p.m.: Wauka Mountain Orchestra; North Hall Middle and North Hall High band students
• 5:30-5:50 p.m.: Riverbend Elementary, North Hall Middle and North Hall High choral students
• 6-6:20 p.m.: Mount Vernon Exploratory, North Hall Middle and North Hall High theater students
Following the performances, the public will be invited to take a walking tour of the facility.
The center, a $5.2 million project, started in June. It has just been completed.
The space includes a 363-seat auditorium, a drama classroom and construction lab, a band room, a chorus room and a multi-purpose event lobby that connects the auditorium to the gymnasium.
Robertson, Loia, & Roof architectural firm did the design and engineering. Carroll Daniel Construction did the construction management.
The Hall County Board of Education has approved the same architects and construction management firms for the East Hall High School Performing Arts Center.
