North Georgia gets blast of winter

A fast-charging cold front packing rain and high winds toppled trees across North Georgia and reminded residents that winter’s not over. But Hall County largely avoided the brunt of this blast of wintry conditions. Hall County Director of Emergency Services David Kimbrell said the county experienced no weather-related incidents Wednesday.
