North Georgia College & State University continues a lecture series tonight with a look at how to teach students in the 21st century.

It’s been a hot topic for local schools as they focus on incorporating technology and teaching global skills such as foreign languages.

Barbara Dixon, coordinator for post-baccalaureate education studies, will present Preparing Teachers for 21st Century Students.”

The free lecture is presented 6:30-8:30 p.m. today at the Gainesville Civic Center. The lecture also is presented Wednesday at the Hampton Park Library in Cumming and Thursday at the university in Dahlonega. The series ends next week.
