There are no candidates yet for Clermont Town Council’s special election set for Nov. 4. The first day of qualifying came and went Monday, as town officials strive to replace Debra Armour, who resigned in May from her council post. The person who replaces Armour will take office Nov. 10 and serve until Dec. 31, 2015, when Armour’s term was to end.
