A car struck the rear of a Hall County school bus traveling from Johnson High School to South Hall Middle School.

No one, including 39 high school students, was injured in the accident, which happened at about 4 p.m. at Ga. 13/Atlanta at Plainview Road.

"A car ran through the traffic light there and struck the back of the bus," said Gordon Higgins, spokesman for the Hall County school system.

"The accident report is almost complete and the bus driver will be released to take those Johnson students on home," Higgins said. "The South Hall students have already been picked up by another bus ... and they are on their way home, too."

Georgia State Patrol is working the accident. No further details were immediately available.
